Connections
Bring your own AI
Connect the models, GPUs and services you already have. Forgeverse uses them on your behalf and never uses its own.

Every provider FCC supports, local runtimes, and the media services the Studio uses.
Forgeverse Bridge
Use AI running on your computer
Local servers don't accept requests from websites. The Bridge is one small file that forwards requests from forgeverse.org, and only forgeverse.org, to them.
- Download forgeverse-bridge.py. It needs Python 3.8+ and nothing else.
- Run it and leave it open:
python3 forgeverse-bridge.py
Windows:py forgeverse-bridge.py· GPU box on your network:--route comfy=http://192.168.1.50:8188 - Allow local network access if your browser asks.

Prefer no Bridge? Allow forgeverse.org in the app itself:
python main.py --enable-cors-header https://forgeverse.org # ComfyUI OLLAMA_ORIGINS=https://forgeverse.org ollama serve # Ollama
LM Studio: Developer → Settings → Enable CORS. FCC has no CORS option, so use the Bridge.
Security
How your keys are handled
- Signed in: each key is sealed with AES-256-GCM under a key derived for your account alone. It's write-only: Forgeverse shows you its last four characters and never sends it back to any browser.
- The relay only reaches public https:// APIs (never private networks) and only the API paths each kind of provider needs. Every request is tied to your session and rate-limited.
- Local AI (Bridge, ComfyUI, Ollama…) is called straight from your browser. It never passes through Forgeverse.
- Signed out: keys stay in this browser's storage only. You can delete your Forgeverse data at any time, which erases every saved key.
